During the months of January and February, Viral Nation was tasked with driving awareness to Twitch by activating influencers a part of the gaming community on YouTube and Instagram. Influencers created informative content that highlighted the great creators on the Twitch platform and showcased the unique community features that its users use and love!

The Goal

  • Drive mass awareness for Twitch.tv and the top 6 games currently being featured (Fortnite, Overwatch, WoW, LoL, Apex Legends, CoD)
  • Increase brand awareness and viewer retention for audiences on YouTube and Instagram that are Twitch aware and Twitch unaware

The Strategy

  • Utilize influencers that are well known in the gaming community to redirect their fans to the directories of the Top 6 games on Twitch
  • Activated influencers who were not on the Twitch platform to inform their audiences about the unique experience that Twitch offers its users.
