Bud Light approached Viral Nation with the goal of increasing brand awareness and improving brand perception within California’s Hispanic community.

Viral Nation activated 11 local Hispanic influencers to promote messaging tied to #HechoEnCalifornia (Made in California) and surpassed Bud Light’s initial goal by 4.9M interactions.

The Goal

  • Position Bud Light as the desired beverage within California’s Hispanic community when sharing special moments with family and friends
  • Generate 3M social media interactions

The Strategy

  • Activate 11 influencers to create engaging and humorous content
  • Demonstrate the integration of Bud Light within influencers’ lives through Instagram Stories
  • Promote a large scale Bud Light giveaway contingent on the success of the Mexican National Team’s performance in the FIFA World Cup

#HechoEnCalifornia opened Viral Nation up to new cultures and traditions. Working with 11 Latin American influencers we created an all-encompassing campaign showing how Budlight plays a huge part in family and tradition for these influencers.
